Has the FAA finally decided which plan will be used for the 8700 ft runway extension? If they have, it looks like Main Ave in Warwick will be reconfigured, which they claim will affect minimal residences and businesses. The mayor and the Airport Corp are still at odds. Since it looks like the expansion is inevitable; maybe they can call a truce and work together for the better of the city and its' residents. The indecisiveness and conflict of information is harder on the residents than the final impact probably will be. Hopefully those residents of RI that thinks it will impact only Warwick, will realize that in a state the size of RI, we will all be affected by the air traffic, if in fact it does bring an increase to TF Green.

Hello, I recently bought a home in the West Shore Road area. and just finding out about the plans for the expansion. My hope would be that there flight paths they will use not effect the quiet peacefull neiborhood I live in. I will have to go down to the town hall to see about any information I can gather. If the plans have all been aproved they should be close to having a mini mold of what the actual area will look like. Going to do a bit of leg work to see what I can find out.
